Rhinebeck Front Garden
This project, based in New York’s Hudson Valley, will reimagine the front garden as a sophisticated and welcoming entrance, integrating a new driveway and parking court for multiple vehicles with seamless pedestrian access to the mudroom and primary entrance. To navigate the sloping terrain, the design will employ tiered retaining walls softened by a blend of structural evergreen hedging and ornamental trees, ensuring both street appeal and robust privacy from the nearby road and church driveway. Every element is engineered to complement the home’s historic character and new facade, balancing essential functionality with carefully curated sightlines that connect the interior of the home to its surrounding landscape.
